But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Since this refrigerator is a premium, I expect higher quality.

This fridge is a great choice, despite the small blip. It boasts a spacious freezer compartment, which is uncommon in counter-depth French door refrigerators. Furthermore, it holds a good amount of frozen foods as compared to similar models.

Inside the fridge, there are 17 shelves and compartments. The refrigerator compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is typical for a fridge with a French door at this price. It has a decent sized freezer in the left side. But it's not the biggest one I've seen.

The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and lets you manage your refrigerator from anywhere across the globe. It also offers a lot of customization options. It also sends you notifications when a door is left open, when the fridge or freezer is in need of defrosting, and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be great it GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill which is a feature that is available in a few GE refrigerators that allows users to choose the amount of cups they wish to pour out. It also has a countdown feature on the fridge's display to display how much water you have left, but it's not as effective as Precise fill.

It's a simple fridge that might not be as attractive as its rivals however it has enough features to make a good option. It also has a large water dispenser as well as a good ice machine that works fast.

Another nice feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. Temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray much from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. This is a good performance but does not quite make it to the top of our ratings.
