Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

Car seat buggy 2 in 1. It combines two of the most important baby equipment pieces: the infant car seat and the stroller. It makes getting on and off public transportation (and walking up and down steps) much more convenient.

One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat & stroller combo. It's the first integrated travel system that allows you to switch between your car seat and stroller in just a few seconds without disturbing your baby.

Simple to use

Parents should have a car seat and stroller combination that is easy to use. These systems allow you to switch between running errands, walking the dog, or going for a run. You can also keep up with the changing needs of your child so you can take your family on adventures. Our test subjects are awed by how smoothly and conveniently these travel systems glide, regardless of whether they have only one front wheel or a swiveling rear wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 in 1 stroller Combo and the BOB Alterrain pro combo and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 in 1 pram system Combo are simple to move. But even the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be pushed with one hand.

Certain models are difficult to attach or remove from the base. The Doona Combo requires a two step process of attachment, and straps that cover the bottom portion of the infant carrier. It is tempting to bypass these steps, but this could lead to unsafe outcomes.

Some models are more difficult to fold or store than others, which makes them less convenient. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for instance, is difficult to fold due to its huge dimensions and bulky frame. Some users have also found the canopy on this model to be disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is easy to fold with just the push of a button and a pull of the lever. It is also a great option for parents who intend to use their car seat on other people's vehicles, since it is able to be easily removed from the base and then attached to any stroller that is standard.

Easy to Fold

It should be simple to unfold and fold the car seat, whether you're storing it inside your trunk, or in a closet. The most effective combinations we've tested feature an easy, one-handed fold that's compact and durable enough to be used for long walks. They're also simple to move, sliding smoothly over uneven surfaces and bumps. We've seen some combos that can only be connected or disengaged using straps which could be a hassle and make it more difficult for parents to secure the car seat correctly.

The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is an excellent option due to its sturdy construction and practical features, including a large storage bin that is accessible from the back or front. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it easy to secure a car seat installation by connecting the lower anchors by pulling the straps tightly and then pressing the carrier into the base.

It is also relatively light which makes it a great option for families or frequent travelers who have multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 in 1 travel system pram Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 in 1 pushchair pram have also scored very well in our tests of ease-of-use. Both come with a single wheel that is easy to push with one hand. Both have a single front wheel which is easy to push (one-handed!). They also have a movable swing wheel, which is ideal for running errands and shopping. The only downside is that they're heavy and are difficult to lift when a baby is in a car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some car seat and stroller combinations can be difficult to assemble. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the simplest travel systems to assemble. It comes with a handy guide. Other models, including the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also relatively simple to assemble. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however is a bit difficult to put together. It requires two steps to attach the lower anchors, and using straps that cover the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy, which means it requires two people to secure the carrier in the base, and then remove it.

In our tests, it took around 5 minutes to assemble the UPPAbaby v2 Cruz. This is a simple procedure when you take into account the time saved by not having to take out all the individual pieces. The toddler seat can be slid into and detached easily on most of these models.
